Optimum combination of: Project management, Time to Market Compression (TtMC) and Lean Product Development (LPD) is aimed at achieving superior profitability from new product development and introduction.
This session will provide a framework for integrating and applying these methods and establish a clear framework for implementation.

 

Session 2:

Practices and Tools for Product Development  Projects, Time Holes and Waste elimination
The main objectives here are increased productivity and eliminating Waste and rework in Product Development Process.
Including:
Understanding the financial and economic aspects of productivity, waste and bottlenecks
Managing product and product range variability and value to customers
Enabling and controlling Flow in PD from Pull vs Push and cadence
Measuring resources and capacity and using Value Streams and queuing theory to manage bottlenecks
Exploiting feedback loops to achieve ‘real time’ control
